  2. Dr. Doggie's (of Lunchtime) tip of the year:
  3.    When making backups of commercial software, protection
  4. on the disc can be a bit of a problem.  Even the best
  5. copiers are defeated by some games, especially 4th
  6. Dimension games, and it is not much fun if your only copy
  7. of a game curls up and dies.  To help remedy the situation
  8. I would like to pass on this tip.  The solution is to
  9. totally bypass ADFS and use an Amiga disc copier (on an
  10. Amiga of course).  The best copier for this task is called
  11. "Amiga Copy" which gives very good results.  It should be
  12. set to either "deepcopy 1" or "deepcopy2" and these are
  13. able to copy any format of disc.  The program itself is
  14. rubbish and is not exactly userfriendly, but it is results
  15. that count.

  19. EXEL - Actually, the best copiers for this are D-Copy (v1
  20. or v2) and X-Copy (v6+). If you select nibble copy on
  21. either of these, you will have no problems, although Dr.
  22. Doggie's idea still stands (and is very good). These will
  23. copy ANYTHING.

  25. Rememeber, this should not be used to pirate copyrighted
  26. software, and should only be used to make personal
